Our Beliefs
Statement of Faith
Here are Wanganui Central Baptist we believe -
- God as the 'Trinity' made up of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, all in one.
- Jesus as fully human and fully God and in the forgiveness of believers' sins through His death on the Cross.
- Holy Spirit as the comforter, encourager and empowered of all believers.
- Salvation by faith in Jesus alone
- The Bible as the inspired Word of God an in its authority for all areas of faith and how we life our lives.
- The Church as Christ's body (community) which is made up of all believers.
- The task we have which is to live and tell God's message
